Privacy policy
What this site collects, what BiS does with it, and how to reach us about it. The site asks you for information in one place — the contact form — and counts visits with analytics we host ourselves.
Information collected
The contact form asks for your email address. Your first name, last name, what the message is about, and the message itself are optional. Nothing else on this site asks you for anything.
Our server also records the IP address a submission arrives from and the time it arrived — that is what keeps the form from being used to send bulk mail. It stays in the server’s own logs and goes no further.
How it is used
Business Intelligence Solutions gathers the contact information you provide to us to contact you about our products and services. You may unsubscribe from these communications at any time.
We do not sell your information, and we do not share it for anyone else’s advertising.
Who processes it
A message you send passes through two services before it reaches a person. This site’s own server, which we run at DigitalOcean in the United States, receives the form and passes it on. HubSpot then stores it as a contact record — HubSpot is the customer relationship system BiS uses, and its own privacy terms apply to what it holds.
A copy of each message is also written to a log on our server, capped in size, so that a delivery which fails can be traced rather than lost.
Cookies and analytics
This site sets no cookies. Not for advertising, not for sessions, not for anything.
Visits are counted by GoatCounter, which we run on our own server rather than handing to a third party. It records the page visited, the site that referred you, and rough details of the browser and screen the request came from. It cannot follow you to other sites, and because it sets nothing in your browser there is nothing to clear — closing the tab is the whole of it.
